Weldaloy Products Company machines close tolerance components from non-ferrous metals that are forged or extruded. The near-net shape provided by these processes in addition to the uniform grain structure provide superior parts for critical components in your manufacturing process.
Because of the unique properties of non ferrous metals, specifically copper alloy materials, machining copper is quite different than many of the standard ferrous materials that are machined. The nature of copper causes it to become "gummy" while being processed in the machine.
Certain geometric tools need to be used along with a knowledge of the speed with which the material has to be delivered. If you don't know the precise mechanics of doing machining copper, you could end up ruining your parts or, worse yet, making nonconformance parts during the process of machining copper.
Our commitment to the future and to our customers is to provide a full range of manufacturing and services related to machining copper and aluminum alloys. We accomplish this by being vertically integrated.
This commitment allows us to be unique in the industry as we provide not only the finest open die and closed die forgings, extrusions, and heat treating, but also CNC Machining (specializing in machining copper and non ferrous metals) and complete part processing. |
